Mere Golf and Country Club: For Mere GCC

Major expansion is underway at Mere Country Club with a new spa and leisure centre set in the original stables of the hall having recently opened, the setting to the building has been enhanced  and courtyard gardens created for guests to relax in after their treatments. The development of a new hotel is now in progress which will increase the range of facilities at this prestigious country club, the planned landscape setting with terraces, seating areas and ornamental gardens will complement the high standard of hospitality that members expect at this championship grade golf course.

MBNA Field of Dreams

A new Recreation and Sports centre was created at the MBNA European Bank HQ at Chester with the provision of new Football and Cricket pitches, a Baseball Field, Tennis & Basketball Courts, a Trim Trail and other all weather facilities. As this development is sited within the Green Belt and the grounds occupied by a colony of Crested Newts significant mitigation measure were required to provide alternative habitats for any displaced amphibians. Three wildlife ponds were created, one of which has a timber observation deck as a resource for community involvement. The sports fields are enclosed with belts of native woodland to enhance the habitat value of this exciting recreational resource.

Bowdon Sports Club

Preparation of Landscape Scheme for an all weather hockey pitch at Bowdon, the scheme included the siting and layout of the pitch, fencing, seating, lighting, mounding and screening. Works for Sports club also included enhancement works to an existing cricket pitch, improvement of the highway access, new boundary treatments and car parking.

Ampleforth College, North Yorkshire:For the Order of St Benedict.

An early project completed by the Practice was to create a high quality landscape setting to the new wing for the Public school. Works included paving and planting to the frontage of the new building and the creation of 2 new courtyards for students and lay staff. This Scheme received a Principal BALI Award for its Landscape Design and Construction
